{Lighting Demo... Looks Good Enough To Eat}

I took these at a lighting demo at the end of last month. I learned sooo much! What a great opportunity and experience. Believe it or not these were actually taken in a basement with just light coming from a deep window well, yet the lighting looks so great... especially on the bruschetta. Nicole Hill arranged these 2 so beautifully and meticulously. I wish I had half her talent.

Here are some shots of people in there work environment. Fun project!! Target Optical, Bev's Framing, Smith's Photo Lab, Dabb's Produce Stand (love the cat in the bottom picture). I might do a few more, possibly Onyx Salon, and Farr's Jewelry.

{Creative Photography}

Well for class this week we had to pick an item out of a bag with out knowing what we were picking. I reached in and grabbed a pack of pencils. My teacher told us to get creative and take pictures of the item in different ways using natural light. This is a sample of what I came up with.

{Lighting Demo}

I decided I was ready for some improvement in my photography skills so I signed up for a class offered by the very smart, very beautiful, very fabulous...Nicole Hill. Boy was it worth the drive from here to Orem. She was amazing and I learned so much in such a short time. She carries my highest recommendation. Here is a sample of the photos I took at my last class using different kinds of lighting: open shade, shooting into the sky, & backlit sun with models provided. I was so happy I signed up for her next class and her friend is offering a PhotoshopCS3 class that I signed up for as well, so I will be going down there twice a week in March. Can't wait to learn, learn, learn!!!
