Well, if you haven't heard... I'm officially engaged! The big day isn't too far away either, October 9th is coming up quickly and I can hardly wait. The full story behind Mitch and I and the way he proposed is posted on our wedding site, www.mywedding.com/mitchandlisaforever. My good friend Ashley Taylor came up to Ogden to do our engagement session at the Union Station & along historic 25th St. I absolutely LOVE these pictures of us. Thanks so much Ashley!

{Chore Chart}
I found this great template on Crafting Chicks blog for free a while back & I finally got around to using it today. I've sent it off to the lab to have it printed on 12x18 photo paper & then laminating it so we can mark it with dry/wet erase markers. My boys picked out the colors that they wanted on it & I found some great digital paper to make it look wonderful. The boys had fun helping me set up each picture & they are excited to use their new job charts. I hope the enthusiasm lasts!

{End of 2009 ~ Happy New Year}
Well, I've been majorly busy over the past month & super blessed. After my car accident, the deductible to have the car fixed wiped out my entire savings. I don't even get to keep the car (x-husbands). A few weeks after the accident (December 2009) I acquired 2 new jobs. The steadiest of the jobs is delivering the Standard Examinar in my neighborhood. I'm up at 5am Sunday thru Saturday. I gear up as if I were going out to ski. If it's really windy I even put on my ski goggles. Then I really don't notice that it's only 7 degrees outside. I deliver to about 30 houses every morning & then I'm able to get home & shower & get ready for the day before my boys wake up. Mind you m'boys are not being left in the house alone. I have 2 brothers that are still home at that time & my mom is there for most mornings as well just incase m'boys ever did wake while I was gone.

I've also returned to Smith's... not in the photo lab though. They have closed most of those down. I'm a checker & I'm really liking it. It's much more social than the photo lab was & I meet some very interesting people. It's also the highest paying of the 2 jobs. Also, in December I had 5 photography jobs that kept me super busy. My boys have felt the difference with me working outside the home & have been more demanding when it comes to my spending time with them. But I've almost replenished my savings & should have my own car paid with cash by the end of March. Cross your fingers for me!
{Bug} knocked his front tooth loose in the summer & it really got loose just before Christmas. He would bite down on his lip so the loose tooth stuck straight out, it was hilarious! I was almost sure that Santa & the Tooth Fairy were gonna come the same night. But it held on a few days longer & when he was eating Captan Crunch for breakfast at his daddy's house it came out.

I sure love the way he looks without that tooth. It's so adorable & I hope it takes a while before that next tooth comes in.

Santa brought {Bug} a snowboard & {Skunk} a sled. We've been having fun outside & {Bug} is such a natural snowboarder. I'm so proud of him!

New Years was really nice & quiet this year. I worked at Smith's till 9pm then {Twinkie} came to pick me up from work & we picked up a bunch of yummy food before we left. We went back to his place & snacked on a green onion cheese ball & crackers while we grilled steaks, steamed king crab legs, & cooked then chilled shrimp. It was all so good!!!!! I really tried to make it till midnight, but I fell 30 minutes short. {Twinkie} woke me with a New Years kiss & New Years wishes. He is such a sweetheart!

{Last Month}
Can I tell you I never in my wildest dreams have fit that much into a month. I'm EXHAUSTED!!! And the month flew by like in a week & I couldn't keep caught up no matter what I tried. Any-hoo, here are a few of the fun highlights and fun happy times. :)
We had our good friends over to make pumpkin rice crispy treats...

I went to my friends bachelorette party at Crystal Hot Springs & we had a blast. (The bride is the blonde.) We dared her to do different stunts like skipping where there was a sign that said no skipping or running & kissing a bald mans head, arm wrestling with a lesbian & attacking this 12 year old boy that wouldn't leave us alone. We roasted hotdogs over the fire & watched chick flicks. We even put on the power red lipstick!! Oh Yeah!!

{Bug} had his last soccer game for the season this month. His grammy Lu, grandparents E, Aunt J, & his dad were there to cheer for him. Here is a wicked shot of him just before he made a goal. Gotta love that tongue, it says, "I'm playing hard core!!" WAY TO GO!!

My sis threw a Halloween party for her niece & nephews. They made spiders out of these prickly weeds that my sister had sprayed black. I was dying with laughter watching m'boys eat the doughnut off the yarn with out using their hands. Then they watched "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". It was a fun night.

{Bug's} Pre-K class took a field trip to the Cornaze. He loved riding on the bus & there were so many fun things to do besides the corn maze. There was this big HUGE slide. {Skunk} was pretty intimidated by it but after sitting on my lap just once he was ready to go on his own. They both were so funny. This place also had "carnival" type games for the kids. They looked for candy in this pool full of hard kernels & they threw frisbees thru a hoop and tried to land rings over vertical pegs, etc.

I did hold my Halloween Charity Bash. {Twinkie} & m'sis came to assist me. I was so glad they were there. It was so cold setting up at 8:30 in the morning but by the time we were ready to go the sun was out to warm us. I am so grateful for all the support that we were able to bring in. We were able to donate over 40 food items to the Utah Food Bank ($110 value) that will stay in our community to help those locally who need it. My friend & I went to her cousins pumpkin fields & I was able to collect 42 (free) pumpkins for this. Those pumpkins sure made my backdrop look great. My lil bro brought m'boys at the end. They were so cute. Afterwards we went trick or treating at my mom's work & then my sis invited m'boys over for a sleep over.

{Twinkie} had a halloween party & it was so much fun. I decorated his lawn with my left over pumpkins & we had a good group of friends over. I had carved one of the pumpkins to look like his dog Dude. {Twinkie} was a zombie & I was an oktoberfest tavern girl. {Twinkie} grilled up some really good burgers & we played rock band all night. Thanks for the great party baby!
