{Go Jazz}

Well, I went to my first Utah Jazz game on Saturday, and to top it off it was a playoff game. What a blast! I admit, in the past I have not been a huge sports fan, but boy, does being there in person make a difference. It didn't hurt that I was only 19 rows from the court. It was such an intense game. I absolutely loved it! And hope to go again!! GO JAZZ!!!

{Harmony}

So a couple of months ago I drove out to Down East Home on Washington in Ogden for the soul purpose of buying a dress I had my eye on. I was worried because all of the sudden it wasn't on their website. Alas when I arrived it was not there either. I was told that it had not been selling so they sent it back. I was SO disappointed! I had absolutely fallen in love with this dress. Well today while online reading a dating article I saw an ad for modest, stylish, and affordable clothing. So I clicked on it and GUESS WHAT!!!! There was my dress, a little more pricey than it was at Down East, but totally worth it. I love how classy it is! In fact, it looks like a lot of Down East's clothing line comes from this gal. But not all of it. She has some great things on her site that I can't get at Down East. Needless to say, I will be ordering the dress and probably more from her! P.S. If you like Down East's line as much as I do. Make sure you check with Seagull Book. They carry a good handful of their stuff for even less. But be careful, if it is on the clearance rack at Down East it is probably cheaper there.

{Sweeter Than Candy On A Stick}

Sometimes I call {Bug}, "you sucker". Well the other day he ran into my room and wanting to call me that but couldn't quite remember what it was exactly that I said. Instead he said, "you lollipop". Awww, my sweet innocent child! I love YOU!!!

{Lighting Demo... Looks Good Enough To Eat}

I took these at a lighting demo at the end of last month. I learned sooo much! What a great opportunity and experience. Believe it or not these were actually taken in a basement with just light coming from a deep window well, yet the lighting looks so great... especially on the bruschetta. Nicole Hill arranged these 2 so beautifully and meticulously. I wish I had half her talent.

{Is the third time really a charm?}

I get this "free eco-living email tip - they give short, fun ideas for getting your green on." I got the image above off of a stock exchange website (so, no I didn't take this shot myself). Anyway this is the tip for today (I found it amusing), April 1, 2008:
"The Bite
Yes, yes, yes! Everyone knows to turn used condoms inside-out for another go, but with a quick rinse, you can save additional latex and cash by using condoms three times before chucking 'em, instead of just two. Recycling just got 33% sexier.
The Benefits
Making cents while making love. Think of all the pennies you coulda saved if you'd adopted this tip during your slutty phase in college.
Saving the planet, one love glove at a time. According to science, if we don't start reusing condoms more frequently, we'll drive the wooly mammoth to extinction.
Pre-lubrication. Reusing saves lube too.
Personally Speaking
Condoms can tear during rinsing even if you're careful, so be gentle. That said, we've been doing this for years, and it's resulted in only three unexpected pregnancies.
Wanna Try?
Centers for Disease Control and Planned Parenthood - y'know, just in case.
April Fools, Biters! Feel free to pass this along...we'll be busy sorting through the hate mail from readers who didn't make it this far."
