{Am I Too Old...}

... to wear the Miley Cyrus clothing line that they carry at Walmart in the junior section?  They are so fun!  And the t-shirts look SOOOOOO comfy!  They have tons more at the store than they do online (I'm in-love with about 5 of them that I can't even find online).  And they are way cheap too.  $7 for a tee shirt!?!  HECK YA!!

Join me won't you? I'm really excited to go to this. Let me know if you plan on going too so I can try to find you there.  This is a GREAT value.  If I'm doing the math correctly we are getting a $120 value in classes for only $15!!  Hope to see you there!

"Hello friends,

This taping is going to be awesome and we would love to have you and your friends with us!

Be a part of the LIVE Time Out Life Seminar taping this Thursday, September 24. We will be taping Brad Wilcox and Richard Holzapfel, both professors of religion at BYU. They will each be filming three 45-minute sessions that will be then be posted online athttp://timeoutseminars.com and go to women around the world!!

Brad will be speaking about his insights into daily using the Atonement on a personal level and Richard will speak on the life of Christ and learning to pattern our lives after His. Both are going to be excellent because of their recent books, the correlation of the two themes, and the caliber of men that they are.

The taping is at the Salt Palace Convention Center and cost is only $15/person! Check in for the taping will begin at 8:15 and the actual taping will begin at 9 a.m. It will go until a lunch break around 12:30 and then the afternoon session will go until 5. {Keep An Eye On #7}

{Bug} has been so excited all summer long for soccer to start. His birthday just misses the deadline so he was not allowed to play last year. Well our first game was 2 weeks ago and wouldn't you know it, he woke up that morning throwing up and lethargic. It didn't last all day though. He was ready to go play soccer about 3 hours after the game was over. He was so sad. So today was his first game that he played in. His team is the Gold Lions & we played against the Blue Thunder today. It was so much fun to watch and I was so proud of him, especially when he fell into the splits and someone stepped on his leg. He sat out for a quarter but toughened up and went back out there to play. He had so much fun! That's my lil' soccer player... & yes, that makes me officially a "Soccer MOM"!! LOL! On a side note, it's been sorta hard for {Skunk}. He really wants to get out there & play with his big brother. Funny guy.

You can see more pictures at the team the new blog I just started for them... http://ourgoldlions.blogspot.com

{Facing A Fear}

So, anyone that knows me well knows that I'm scared of water. Not to the point where you would put me on the Maurey Show but... I'm quite a bit freakish about it. So when {Twinkie} told me that we were gonna go try out the Flo Rider at the Junction, I turned him down flat at first. But he warmed me up to the idea & I said I'd give it a try. OMGosh!! It was so much fun!!! I highly recommend it. Warning though, I have LOTS of bruises all over my body. And the first 3 mornings waking up... well lets just say I felt like I'd been in a terrible car accident & I swore I'd never go again. It made me feel so old & decrepit! BUT!! I'm gonna go again... now that I feel back to normal. Here are some shots that {T's} CSI buddies took of us. Thanks P&J for the great shots!

As you can see we fell down A LOT!

And after one of my injuries and having to sit out for a bit with ice on my wrist we finally got the hang of it. I was able to keep my balance for about 20 seconds in the very end and {T} ran on water. We laughed our heads off and it was such a blast! I can't wait to go back.
