{Travel Log - Day 8 Adam-Ondi-Ahman, MO & Nauvoo, IL}
This morning on our bus we had a beautiful Sabbath devotional. We sang "Families Can Be Together Forever" and had wonderful thoughts and stories shared. This hit me in the gut... carrying over from yesterdays experiences. But I was able to hold it together much better than yesterday. We traveled to Adam-Ondi-Ahman and had a wonderful morning Sunday School lesson there on the grass under the shade given by Dr. Brickey. Then we headed to Hannibal, MO to see the birthplace of Mark Twain and walked around the cute little town. Seeing lots of residue from the terrible floods they endured a month or so ago. Then on to Nauvoo (The City Beautiful). As we traveled north into town, we drove past the restored Village of Nauvoo then up the hill to the new Nauvoo Temple and the current town of Nauvoo. We gathered in front of the Temple and had the opportunity during a beautiful sunset to hear from Brother Allyn who made the stain glass windows for the Temple.
